Sofa Slipcovers Buying Guide

Ever wished there was a way to update your sofa without having to spend a fortune on a brand new one? If you’ve found yourself in this predicament, then sofa covers may be the answer. Easy to use, quick to wash, and in a choice of colours, sofa covers will instantly give old furniture a makeover and make an old sofa look new again.

1. Lay the cover on top of your sofa so that each corner is sitting where it will be fitted.

2. The one-way stretch fabric will allow you to pull your sofa cover so that it stretches acrosyour entire couch.

3. Starting in one corner, carefully pull the cover so that it covers the entire back cushion and corner.

4. Pull the cover to the opposite corner and repeat. This may take some coaxing but do persevere, this sofa cover is designed to fit snugly over your sofa.

5. Once in place, move to the front of your sofa and locate the wide, elasticated band located within the cover. You should easily find this by running your hand underneath the fabric.

6. Lift your seat cushions to a 45-degree angle and pull the elasticated band so that it sits underneath your cushions. Ensure this band is straight and that each cushion is on top of the band. This is vital for keeping your sofa cover in place.

7. After pushing your seat cushions into their normal position start at each corner and gently pull the cover so that it covers each sofa arm. Pull and push the sofa cover as you go so that it sits snugly into each corner.

8. Once fitted, ensure that all material is fitted tightly over your sofa, pulling material where necessary to ensure a snug fit.

9. The sofa cover is fully elasticated and the bottom edge will hug the bottom of your sofa.

10. Easy to clean, your cover can be washed at home at 30 degrees. Do not tumble.

11. For larger 3 seater sofas, two people may be required to ensure a proper fit.
